TIP #10
Feel the pulse of a hot summer meadow.
Late summer afternoons, the meadow is a shrill
cacophony, a population of buzzing, whining, whirring beings.
And, like any city, this one emits one common, unifying
sound, a kind of pulsing, sizzling energy. Can you hear it in the meadow, this
heartbeat of life?

Tuning into what I once called in a poem, "the symphony in the grass," is a wonderful way to be in the moment! Also, if you watch what an individual insect is doing (if you can keep up with him!) you will find that time stops while you are being with that insect. I once watched an ant carry a wing (huge) across my yard for, probably an hour. And I love both photos, too! :)
Jean -- You're a woman after my own heart! I love your technique of picking one individual out of a mass event and keep watching it! (In fact, that's another of my 101 tips :-) )
Thanks so much for the comment -- hope you'll stop by again soon!
